About

The word Yoga means “union” and Namaste Fit’s intention is to dissolve the bridges that exist between the body, mind, and soul to create a sense of space where this union is respected, accepted and loved. Namaste Fit would like to help you create your SPACE OF PEACE. Namaste Fit opened in June 2016 as a Vinyasa only Yoga studio in Krugersdorp. We now understand the value of movement, therefore every exercise effects not only the physical, but also mental and emotional body by using movements based on Yoga, Pilates, Energy Movement, Breath, Concentration and holistic strength and flexibility training.

Types of Movement

VINYASA FLOW:

This is a multi-level, Vinyasa practice syncing breath and movement. Offered in non-heated room, and will include time for meditation, strong physical postures and Savasana.

YIN YOGA:

To balance the high stress lives, our Yin classes offer 5-6 postures held anywhere between 2 - 10 min each. It is a gentle time to wind-down, to release fascia and deep tissue.

BODYRhythm:

This is aimed to improve balance, flexibility, mobility and true core strength. Movement is a celebration of what your body can do, therefore expect a combination of Yoga, Pilates, Energy Movement, Breath, Concentration and holistic strength and flexibility training.

Karma Yoga

Karma Yoga is the Yoga of action. It’s about learning to act selflessly in the service of others. Through Karma Yoga we learn kindness and compassion without an expectation of gain. Learning to act from pure intentions, and connecting with the bigger picture. Read more...

COMMUNITY MINDFUL WALK:

This is a donation based community activity.
We recommend making a weekly commitment to give back to those in need, sharing love, and spreading light. Our mindful walk offers the opportunity to practice holding a mental mantra. Something that reminds you of the purpose of your service and keeps you grounded. Donations go towards Chimp Eden- Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) South Africa Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Jnana Yoga

Jnana Yoga starts with the most obvious and easily understood parts of ourselves and refines our awareness into the subtlest aspects of our being. The fundamental goal of Jnana Yoga is to become liberated from the illusionary world of self-limiting thoughts and perceptions, and achieve the union of the inner Self with the oneness of all life.
